The NYLT (National YOUTH Leadership Training) course centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE, what a leader must KNOW, and what a leader must DO.
The key elements are then taught with a clear focus on HOW TO. The skills come alive during the week as the team goes on a Quest for the Meaning of Leadership.
National Youth Leadership Training is a six day outdoor experience conducted by the Pathway to Adventure Council. It is designed to provide youth with a meaningful Scouting experience intended to enhance his/her knowledge and create a deeper understanding of his/her role and responsibilities as a leader, teacher, and role model in the troop or crew, as well as in his/her personal life.
