Calling all Troop 188 Scouts! Why camp outside in 20 below ice, wind, and snow in February when you can camp in comfort in 50 degree Eagle Cave, explore its 3000 feet of passages on four different levels, plus enjoy some great home cooking in the dining hall?
Troop 188 has made reservations for 2 adults and 8 Scouts to experience this “right of passage” and the unique experience of camping overnight in a cave.
Depart: 7:00 AM Saturday Feb 9th (please eat breakfast before arriving)
Return: 3:00 PM Sunday Feb 10th
Cost: $90 per Scout (Includes Transportation, Cave, Sat Lunch and Dinner, Sun Breakfast)

What to Bring:
$10 for lunch on ride back Sunday
Extra spending money if desired for gift shop / game room
Old clothes that will get muddy and covered with clay
Cheap knee pads from Harbor Freight Tools are handy
Old rain coat and rain pants are also handy
Hat to protect your head from bumps
Sleeping bag (50 degrees in cave)
Two tarps (one below sleeping bag, one above sleep bag and gear)
Garbage bags to stow your gear in the cave plus your muddy clothes when you return home
Sleeping Pad
Two flashlights/Headlamps
Usual clothes, boots, and toiletries
Winter clothes for outside hike and campfire
Filled water bottle
No mess kit needed
