Troop 188 Merit Badge Blitz

Troop 188’s first Merit Badge Blitz was such a hit that we decided to do it again!
Saturday May 7th from 12:30 p.m. – 5 p.m., we will be hosting our second Merit Badge Blitz Day where Scouts can earn up to 3 Merit Badges. The Merit Badge Blitz will be at the CLC. Here are the Badge workshops we are offering so far:
– Truck Transportation
– Electronics
– Sustainability
– Radio
– We will also be working on the Woosh NOVA award
Each Merit Badge workshop will last around 60 minutes. If all of your pre-requisite work is done, you will earn your badge that day. Even if you don’t have the pre-reqs done for every badge, you can still take the workshops to get partial credit and finish the badge on your own later.

Register for as many of the Merit Badges as you want. Let me know which Badge workshops you want to take via email at susankirchner@sbcglobal.net as soon as possible so I can tell the Merit Badge Counselors know how many Scouts to expect in their workshop.
– Within the next week I will send the registered Scouts any pre-requisite work needed for each Merit Badge.
